Join us for two consecutive weekends highlighting the work of cartoonist Ann Telnaes and the launch of her new book, Trump’s ABC. Featuring sing-songy rhymes and beguiling watercolor drawings, Trump’s ABC is a miniature critique and exposé of Donald Trump and his janissaries, poltroons, and dissemblers, illustrating his public policies, his personal defects, his ethical dysfunction, and the consequences of his Presidency on the lives of Americans — in a format that is cleverly designed to reflect the commander-in-chief’s attention span and mental level.
Ann Telnaes is a Pulitzer Prize-winning editorial cartoonist who lives in Washington, D.C. Her work appears regularly in The Washington Post, The Boston Globe, The Los Angeles Times, Newsday, and many other papers.
An exhibit of Ann’s original art from the book will open on February 10th and coincide with the 2nd Saturday Georgetown Art Attack featuring lively visual and performing arts presentations throughout the historic district. The following Saturday, February 17th, we will host Ann for a reading and signing of the book.
