Animator and cartoonist William Van Horn, today a Canadian citizen, was born in Oakland, California. A frequent contributor to the Fantagraphics anthology Critters, Van Horn has also been a beloved Donald Duck, Uncle Scrooge, and DuckTales comic book talent since 1987.
